Kim~
It all started early, 8am hair appt. and then off to the church.
Get make-up done, eat lunch, get dressed and then off to see Joshua for the first time.

Josh~
Go drop off bags in Fredericksburg at Bed and Breakfast, drop off truck in Waverly, and head to church to get ready to see Kim for the first time.

12:30- First moments together, photos with family and friends, smiles all around

3:00- Head down to our "rooms" to wait for the big moment

3:30- Pastor cuts off signing the guest book and we get started a few minutes late.
3:35- Kim comes down the isle with Dad, Dale.
4:00- First announcement of Mr. & Mrs. Joshua Meyer

Decorating Day

We spent from 8am- 3pm in the building making sure it was going to be an elegant, fun-filled, day.
The heating and cooling crew was still working as hard as we were that Friday, trying to make sure that we'd have air-conditioning for our celebration. They got finished around 2pm so we could finish up in time to get to our other appointments.

Kim got held up and got to rehearsal late. Emotions and lack of sleep catching up to her it wasn't a pretty site the rest of the night. Family and friends kept positive and Joshua proved to be her rock.

Flood 2008

On June 9, 2008 Waverly, IA- home to our reception site- was flooded. The 4-H Building, where we were to have our reception, was under 4 feet of water.

Fairboard members, volunteers, past 4-Hers, and our friends and family were able to get the building ready for our big day.
