10 Months

Can you believe she's already 10 months?
She moved to a big girl seat recently. She fussed quite a bit about it the first week, but has grown to be cool with it. She had to get used to sitting up a bit more and not being able to see us like she used to. She doesn't like the dvd player as much as her brother did so unless Jonah is sitting next to her to be the entertainment, she's not always happy in there.

She has decided that she's going to be a little daredevil. She just climbed right up on there.

HShe LOVES bathtime and was ready to take a bath in the hotel we recently stayed at. She was thrilled that the tub was a little shorter and more her size. Here she is showing off her lovely bed head. She wasn't real keen on me taking the picture, but smiled afterwards when she saw Jonah giggle at her.

She does love to relax in Jonah's chair too. She'll hold the bottle when she's in this kind of position, but she won't when she's sitting up. So we haven't mastered the "sippy cup" or drinking anything siting up really.

She has recently figured out that the world goes by outside the window. She can pull herself  up now to see out the window and does so frequently. In this pic she's watching the soccer practice happening across the street.

We almost have a walker on our hands. I wish I had a pic of her standing, but I only have a short video of her attempting to do so on her own. Here she is walking behind her stroller, but she knows she's getting close to something to crash into so she's starting to fuss so someone will turn her.

It seems that she only has purple pjs. :-) She has many more, but apparently we only take pics of these. :-)

Other big news at this time in our lives:
- We are on ear infection #6 which means time for TUBES!! We see the ENT May 7.
- We are also going to have her left eye probed open since it hasn't opened on its own yet. We thought it was getting better b/c it wasn't gooey anymore, but it still waters a lot and did get gooey again when she got this last ear infection. We are hoping they will be able to do both at the same time.
- She's standing up on her own for up to 20 seconds at a time. She's pretty proud of herself.
- 19 lbs, 9oz at her last doc appt (about a week ago).
- Still eating 4oz bottles, 4x a day. AM, afternoon to nap, late afternoon, and bedtime... roughly.
- Still loving most baby foods. Getting more eager to eat what we eat. She's usually pretty open to trying what we are eating. (Very unlike her brother!)
- She knows her name and knows your tone of voice. She knows when she's not supposed to be doing something and will either giggle and run, or speed up to get where she wants to go before you grab her.
- Still in love with paper! Has even started chewing on books. UGH
- Favorite game: Still peek a boo, but also likes to knock over the stacked blocks.
