We all (Gma & Gpa Meyer, Jill, Eric, Paige, Aiden, and Maddox, and the 3 of us) headed to Adventureland on Friday June 18. It was a RAINY start to the day, pouring by the time we got to Bondurant and it rained hard for the next 20 min or so. Then it was kind of cold, but we went in anyway, it didn't take long to warm up.
We spent the day riding on rides, going to the circus, and enjoying the weather.
Eric got to go on a few rides with his big green cast, it was a lot of fun for everyone (especially Stan) to push him around in his wheelchair. Aiden liked the rides after they were over, and Paige was all about the Sidewinder. (even though no one else was). Denise and Josh braved it with her a few times.
Jonah drove some semis, was leary about the carrosel,
and had fun in the chuckwagons with cousin Paige.
We ended the night with avoiding more storms by going out to eat before heading to Prairie Meadows for some pony fun. Big winners were Josh and Jill/Eric. Aiden made out well selling "bad" tickets to Gpa for $2 bucks each. :-)
Another great outing with the Meyer clan, more adventures to come.
