Jonah and I went to the zoo in Des Moines one day. It was pretty hot, so we went in the AM and stayed in the shade quite a bit. He had a blast looking at the penguins, giraffes, and goats.
He was also flabbergasted with the koi fish in the petting zoo area. He never wanted to touch them, but his eyes were huge and he kept looking at them and then me.
So fun! I can't wait until he is a little older to enjoy it so much more.
